Creating an Analog
Creating an Analog is when you create an event or activity that is posted. You will be able to access this on your Profile page and on your Orbit.
To create an analog post, simply follow these steps:
- Tap the Create Analog button and the Create Analog page will pop up.
- Fill in the fields and hit the Post button located at the upper right corner of the page.
Proposing an AnalogProposing an Analog is when you propose an event or activity to another user on Analog. The user that you have sent the proposal to will be able to respond with Accept, Reject (with a comment), or Suggest Time where they will suggest a new better suited time for the activity to take place. You can then convert the accepted proposal into an analog, edit it, or cancel the proposal.
To propose an analog, simply follow these steps:
- Tap the Create Analog button and the Create Analog page will pop up. You'll notice two tabs, swipe right to get to the Propose Analog tab.
- Fill in the fields, don't forget to fill in the Propose To field.
- When finished, hit the Post button located at the upper right corner of the page.

Analog enables you to easily search for analog posts, sort, filter, and even change how analog posts are displayed according to your preferences thanks to the following features below:
- Filter by - This allows you to filter analog posts displayed in your feed by Time, Status, Collection, and Starts/Ends Within a set time.
- Sort by - This allows you to sort analogs in your feed by Urgency (Urgency at top or Urgency at bottom), as well as sort by Created Date.
- List View - This allows you to view analogs in a compact list view.
- Search - This allows you to type in keywords to search for analogs.
To access these features, users must be on their profile page.

Setting your analog reminder frequency is an important step for you to utilize the app. Once this is set, you'll be reminded as frequent as you've chosen for all upcoming analogs that you create.
To set your analog reminder frequency, simply follow these steps:
- Tap on the Orbit button.
- Tap on the Hamburger menu button.
- Go to Settings > Notifications > Notifications Frequency.
- Turn the notifications On or Off by clicking on the switch.
- Set a new notification frequency by tapping on Add.
- Specify the timer by clicking on one of the preset times or by inputting a custom time.
- Once finished, tap on Done.
- To remove a notification frequency, tap on the button.
- Tap on the Orbit button.

Importing your calendar to Analog allows you to fully utilize Analog's features. It will allow Analog to help you organize your events and activities as well as make sure you are reminded about each upcoming analog, all in one place.
To import your calendar to Analog, follow these steps:
- Tap on the Orbit button.
- Tap on the Hamburger menu button.
- Go to Calendar > Import Calendar.
- Select either Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar.
- Sign in to your account.
- Select what group within the account you want to import, then click on Submit.
An analog post will be created for all upcoming events marked on the calendar you imported. You will be reminded about each upcoming event according to what you've set in your analog reminder frequency settings.
- Tap on the Orbit button.

Creating a note on Analog allows you to put your ideas down to later convert into an analog or activity. You can also choose to upload or record new photos, videos, or audio to add to your notes.
Creating a NoteTo create a new note on Analog, follow these steps:
- Tap on the Orbit button.
- Tap on the Hamburger menu button.
- Go to Notes, click on to create a new note.
Converting a Note to an Analog
To convert a note to an Analog, follow these steps:
- On the Notes page, swipe left or press and hold on an existing note to access the menu options.
- Tap on the Add button.
- Fill in the details of your analog and click on Post.
Deleting a Note
To delete a note on Analog, follow these steps:
- On the Notes page, swipe left or press and hold on an existing note to access the menu options.
- Tap on the Delete button.
- Tap on the Orbit button.

Analog's chat space lets you instantly reach people or groups you care about to coordinate analogs, activities, or just to message people directly.
Sending a MessageTo send a chat message on Analog, follow these steps:

Tap Chat in the bottom navigation menu.

Tap to create a new message.

Start typing either a name or the name of a clique into the search bar. Choose to search for People or Cliques.

Select a single person to start a one on one chat or select multiple people or a clique to start a group chat.

Type a message, then press to send.
You can also click Message at the top of someone’s profile to message them.
Who can you message?You can send messages to any user on Analog. Messages you send to people who aren't following you may arrive in their Message Request folder.
How do you know if your message is seen?When you message someone on Analog, icons appear next to your message (on the right) and tell you if it's been sent and read.

Deleting a Message
To delete a message, follow these steps:
- Press and hold onto the sent message you want to delete.
- A menu will pop up, tap Delete.
- Select the message/s you want to delete from the chat.
- Click on
Deleting a Chat
To delete a chat, follow these steps:
- From the Chat page, press and hold onto a chat you want to delete.
- A menu will pop up, tap Delete Chat.

Connecting an Add-OnTo connect an add-on, follow these steps:
- Tap on the Orbit button.
- Tap on the Hamburger menu button.
- Go to Integrations > Add-Ons.
- Select your add-on and click on Connect.
Once connected, the add-ons will automatically create analogs and add them to your Orbit and Profile page.
Disconnecting an Add-On
To disconnect an add-on, follow these steps:
- Tap on the Orbit button.
- Tap on the Hamburger menu button.
- Go to Integrations > Add-Ons.
- Select your add-on and click on Connected.
Once disconnected, all of the analogs created by the add-ons will be automatically deleted from your Orbit and Profile page.

Analog enables you to create business pages for your businesses to reach your customer base as well as gain access to business tools to help your business grow.
To create a Business page, follow these steps:
- From the Orbit page, tap the Hamburger menu button on the top left corner of the screen.
- Select Create Business Account.
- Tap the Agree & Continue.
- Fill in your business details for the page you are creating.
- When finished, tap the Done button.

With Analog, you can discover people you know that are existing users on Analog and you can also invite new people.
Discover PeopleTo discover people that are existing users on Analog, follow these steps:
- From the Orbit page, tap the Hamburger menu button on the top left corner of the screen.
- Select My Network.
- Type into the search bar to search by name, phone number, Analog ID of the user you want to find.
Analog ID is a unique numerical value that signifies the registration number of an account within the app. Adding contacts by Analog ID can be difficult, but it is the most accurate method of adding a contact. This is best used when searching for someone whose name is quite common. For instance, someone with the name “John Smith” will surely throw a lot of John Smiths into the search results.
Invite PeopleIf you can't find the user on Analog, you can invite them to join Analog in two different ways by following these steps:
Via Sync- Select Invite.
- Click on Sync to connect your Phone Book, Outlook, or Google. Analog will pull your contacts from these accounts.
- Scroll through your synced contact list and click on the Invite button, then select your preferred method or choose to Copy the link.
- To search through your synced contact list, type a name into the Search bar.
