Managing Your Analog Network

Managing Your Analog Network

  • The Analog app features a list that displays all individuals (connections) that are added within your analog network. To find this list:

     

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select My Network. You can find your contact list within the My Network page.

  • There are three ways for you to add contacts on Analog. There are three options available for you to build up your connection:

     

    • By Add from Contacts(syncing with mobile phone contacts, outlook contacts, and google email contacts)
    • By Invite
    • By Add by Analog ID

     

     

    To find more Analog contacts to add:

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select Find.
    3. On the Find page, you may choose what option works for you to add a contact.

  • The app comes with a feature that lets you view all the invite requests made and sent to you by people outside your analog network. For you to view all these requests, simply:

     

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select My Network.
    3. On the My Network page, click the Requests to go to the Requests tab.

  • Adding contacts by syncing your mobile phonebook will have the Analog app check and cross-reference all the contacts saved in your mobile phone by their phone numbers. The app will check its database to see if those accounts are registered and associated with a phone number saved in your mobile phonebook.

     

    To sync Analog app with your mobile phone, follow these steps:

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the  mceclip0.png  button located on the top left corner of the screen.
    2. Select Discover.
    3. On the Discover page, tap Invite.
    4. On the Invite page, hit the Sync button to the right of the Phone Book option
    5. Wait a couple of seconds and your Phone Book is now synced!

     

     

  • Removing contacts is possible within the Analog app for whatever reason you may have. You can remove someone who is added within your Analog contact list or network by:

     

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select My Network.
    3. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    4. Select My Network.

  • Adding contacts by syncing your Microsoft Outlook mail will have the Analog app check all the contacts saved in your Outlook directory. The app will cross-reference using your contacts’ name, phone number, and email address to its database. If there are registered account that matches the information used to cross-reference the accounts, then they will receive an invite so they can be added to your Analog network.

     

    To sync Analog app with your Outlook mail account:

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select Find.
    3. On the Find page, tap the option Add from Contacts.
    4. On the Add from Contacts page, hit the Sync button right next to the Outlook option

  • Adding contacts by syncing your Google mail (Gmail) account will have the Analog app check all the contacts saved in your Google mail directory. The app will cross-reference using your contacts’ name, phone number, and email address to its database. If there are registered account that matches the information used to cross-reference the accounts, then they will receive an invite so they can be added to your Analog network.

     

    To synch Analog app with your Google mail (Gmail) account:

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select Find.
    3. On the Find page, tap the option Add from Contacts.
    4. On the Add from Contacts page, hit the Sync button right next the Google option

  • The app can find people that are registered with Analog. For example, if you know the name or the mobile number of the person you wanted to add, you can search for them using their name and phone number and send them an invite afterward.

     

    This is possible by:

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select Find.
    3. On the Find page, tap the option Invite.

    Alternatively, you could also try adding a contact through their Analog ID is also an approach you can take to build your network within Analog. Analog ID is a unique numerical value that signifies the registration number of an account within the app. Adding contacts by Analog ID can be difficult, but it is the most accurate method of adding a contact. This is best used when searching for someone whose name is quite common. For instance, someone with the name “John Smith” will surely throw a lot of John Smiths in the search result.

     

    To add someone by their Analog ID:

    1. From the application home screen (Analog Orbit screen), tap the mceclip0.png button located on the upper left portion of the screen.
    2. Select Find.
    3. On the Find page, tap the option Add by Analog ID.
    4. On the Add by Analog ID page, type in their Analog ID and search.
